Florida State Will Change Uniforms and Helmets Mid-Season, Amidst Fan Outrage

Florida State redesigned its uniforms for the 2014 season. The changes…were not popular. So unpopular, according to Warchant.com, the Seminoles are ditching them before the end of the season. This is what you gripe about when your program is winning.

The major point of contention appears to be the helmets. The gold is too bright and the facemasks are too “magenta.” The paint was also chipping and the logos were peeling off, which isn’t cool. The gold numbers on white away jerseys are also hard to read from a distance. Per FSU, the helmets will be fixed by the Clemson game. The jerseys: some time later in the season.

We feel for the poor Nike designer who will be reassigned to the “placing the wrong color shorts on World Cup teams” division.

Michigan fans have been complaining the “Maize” has been bright yellow for years. Brady Hoke, we presume, believes these are not “true” Michigan fans.
