Giancarlo Stanton got hit in the face by this Mike Fiers pitch in the fifth inning of tonight’s Marlins – Brewers game. Amazingly, the pitch was ruled a strike. Stanton exited Miller Park in an ambulance, and according to Miami Herald writer Clark Spencer, the grounds crew had to clean his blood out of the batter’s box. Let’s all hope that Stanton is, comparatively, okay.
