Italian Soccer Club Napoli Debuts Full (Fashionable?) Denim Uniforms

Welp. It appears European soccer teams are going the NCAA football jersey route — the more viral-y, the better. Earlier this summer we saw a lower division Spanish club debut tuxedo jerseys. Italian club Napoli is going one better with the full “Canadian Tuxedo” with its “perfect denim” uniforms. (Admittedly I know nothing about fashion, but I guess denim is “so hot right now.”)
Figure on these jerseys becoming a must-have for American soccer hipsters, the same folks willing to fork over hundreds of dollars for the 1994 U.S. National Team jerseys, lovingly referred to as “The Denim Kit.”
It’s probably only a matter of time before Napoli books Bryan Adams to play a concert at the Stadio San Paolo.
