Georgia Tech Survives Huge Rally by Georgia Southern with Late Touchdown Pass

Georgia Southern came from 25 points down at the half to take a 38-35 lead against Georgia Tech. The upset bid from the Eagles against their former coach Paul Johnson was not to be, however. Georgia Tech got a fumble recovery to set up the final drive, and then with less than 30 seconds left, Justin Thomas avoided a sack, kept the play alive, and found Deon Hill for the go-ahead touchdown.
Positive spin? Georgia Tech got a win over an in-state rival.
