Wisconsin's Student Section Was About 70% Empty Right Before Kickoff

Wisconsin is playing Bowling Green today, and this photo shared by Fox Sports’ Jesse Temple about five minutes before kickoff indicates that there wasn’t much excitement on campus. To be fair, these 11 am starts are brutal — especially if you went out the night before and are trying to recharge your buzz — and the student section was about 80% full by the middle of the first quarter. Still, this isn’t a wonderful look, and it’s going to be something we see more and more of in both college and pro football if improvements aren’t made to the live experience.
