Steven Gerrard Curled in a Free Kick Past Tim Howard

Steven Gerrard is starting to face a little bit of scrutiny toward his automatic first-choice status in the Liverpool starting lineup. On cue Saturday, the Liverpool legend curled in a vintage free kick which beat Everton keeper Tim Howard to put the Reds ahead 1-0 in the second half at Anfield. Free kick aside it’s been a relatively tame Merseyside Derby, aside from some interesting decisions from referee Martin Atkinson.
