Ohio State Student Who Ran on the Field and Got the "Rock Bottom" Loses Scholarship
By Jason McIntyre
The student who ran on the field and got the “Rock Bottom” from Ohio State strength and conditioning coach Anthony Schlegel is losing his full tuition and housing scholarship.
The 21-year old student, Anthony Wunder, is being removed from the Evans Scholars Program for former golf caddies, his lawyer told the Associated Press. Wunder, who is majoring in engineering, was charged with misdemeanor criminal trespassing.
While this penalty may seem excessive – I fully expect the public to flood the internet with sympathy for Wunder – an example has been set: Don’t run on the field during games. You can see the video below.
If you’re wondering about Schlegel … Urban Meyer said he had a “serious” talk with the coach.
