If you’re a baseball player what does one do following the postgame locker room champagne celebration following a series-clinching win? If you’re Eric Hosmer you go to McFadden’s bar in Kansas City’s Power & Light District and buy everyone at the joint a drink. That’s reportedly what happened early Sunday morning following the Royal’s three-game sweep of the Angels in the ALDS.

Hosmer, closer Greg Holland and other Royals showed up at the bar, popped champagne bottles and celebrated along with the fans. Hosmer reportedly spent over $3,000 to pick up the tab as part of a $12,000 bill by the Kansas City players.

Me? I’d have bought everyone helmets full of rally nachos, but again that’s me.
