A.J. McCarron Went From Alabama Legend to Public Enemy No. 1 With One Stupid Comment

A.J. McCarron was briefly remembered earlier this week when he criticized Alabama’s lack of leadership following the Tide’s loss to Ole Miss.

Or something.

Honestly, I started this post, took a screengrab of Preston Dial’s tweet, Googled “Preston Dial” and completely lost interest. Really, this comes down to the fact that Dial – a tight end who caught 25 passes in 2010 – used that smiley face poop icon in a tweet about A.J. McCarron. I mean, that’s kind of funny. Hall of Fame QB Fran Tarkenton also had something to say about McCarron, but Tarkenton went to Georgia so I’m not sure what he has to do with anything.

This is a really dumb story.
