Aaron Rodgers hit Andrew Quarless for the go-ahead touchdown with three seconds remaining to beat the Dolphins in Miami. Previously on the drive, Rodgers converted a 4th-and-10 to Jordy Nelson, and a fake spike to Davante Adams to put them in striking distance.

A lot has been said or written about Rodgers’ ability to come back. Our site’s Jason Lisk discussed some of the context behind those stats at the beginning of last season. A few months later, Rodgers hit Randall Cobb for a long touchdown on fourth down in Week 17 last year to win the NFC North over the Bears.

Green Bay erased an 18-point deficit to the Jets earlier this season, and came back from being down seven points in the fourth quarter in Miami today. Obviously, Rodgers did not do this all by himself. After struggling in the heat for much of the second half, the defense finally came up with a stop. Offensive lineman TJ Lang recovered a Rodgers fumble on the final drive that would have been game over had Miami come up with the ball.

But, there’s a narrative at stake here. Rodgers was already referred to as ELITE in sports talk circles; is he nearing the point where he’ll shed the NOT CLUTCH label?
