Ethan Westbrooks, the rookie undrafted free agent who the Rams kept, practically speaking, instead of fellow defensive end Michael Sam, got penalized for a personal foul after taking a swing at Jonathan Martin after the Rams got a stuff on the goal line on fourth down. Off-the-field narratives colliding! Westbrooks is a distraction!
Oh, and the Rams demonstrated their discipline and focus by also getting away with slapping Carlos Hyde and throwing a ball at his face on the same play.
