Packers Fans Taped Up R-E-L-A-X Lettering on Lambeau Facade

The Packers have been on a nice little run since they were 1-2, the sky was falling, and Aaron Rodgers told everyone to R-E-L-A-X. The team’s rolled off four in a row and fired on all cylinders in a rout of the Panthers this afternoon. For his part, Rodgers has been on a torrid pace:

The defense has also been outstanding. A whole cast of characters from Julius Peppers and Clay Matthews (who had been struggling a bit this year before today) to less heralded players like Nick Perry, Mike Neal, and Mike Daniels have contributed to a steady pass rush. The secondary, finally bolstered by young safeties Micah Hyde and Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, is finally making big plays for the first time since Nick Collins suffered a career-ending neck injury in 2011.

Green Bay travels to New Orleans for a Sunday night match-up next week, and they’ve got a bye right after that. It will be interesting to see to what extent the Packers’ play for the last month is sustainable.
