Florida’s offense has been a disaster this season. Since everyone has a gawk at a good train wreck, here is a cursory stroll through some stats. It’s not pretty.

Yards/Play Offense: 4.95 (112th nationally)
Passing Yards/Attempt: 5.90 (116th nationally)
Passer Rating: 107.3 (119th nationally)
Rushing Yards/Attempt: 4.17 (74th nationally)
3rd Down Conversion Percentage: 33.66 (110th nationally)
Red Zone TD Percentage: 59.09 (78th nationally)
Red Zone Attempts: 22 (105th nationally)
Turnovers: 16 (115th nationally)
Scrimmage Plays of 20-plus Yards: 18 (124th nationally)
Tackles For Loss Per Game Allowed: 6.00 (73rd nationally)

The Gators are not terrible rushing the ball, scoring once they get the ball in the red zone and allowing tackles for loss, just moderately bad. This, plus some special steams inefficiency, is how Will Muschamp gets himself fired with what is probably a Top 15 defense.
