Tom Izzo Played Accordion With a KISS Cover Band at Michigan State Midnight Madness, in Full KISS Makeup

Tom Izzo is great a Midnight Madness. Two years ago he and his family dressed up like The Avengers. This year, his family filmed a cold-open that featured Steve Mariucci marveling at color television and warm weather. The theme was “what would Tom Izzo have done for a career if he hadn’t been a basketball coach. The answer? He’d be the accordion player for KISS. Or at least the KISS cover band War Machine. No matter how you feel about KISS, you have to admit, this was pretty amazing all around.
