Barry Bonds never won a World Series during his Hall of Fame standout career. Baseball’s all-time home run king came close with the Giants in 2002. In San Francisco Bonds is still a legend and still beloved. Wednesday night he celebrated the Giants third World Series in the last five seasons in the streets of San Francisco with the rest of the team’s fans.

As the video shows Bonds made sure to credit the Giants for their accomplishment. But it appears he also used the moment to stoke his ego while the fans chanted, “Barry, Barry,” although who could blame him?

Of course we live in a crazy world where Bonds will likely never get into the Hall of Fame despite hitting 762 career home runs due to some crazy moral clauses applied by the Cooperstown gatekeepers, aka the Baseball Writers Association of America. But that’s just my opinion.
