Wayne Rooney's Flop vs. Manchester City Needed Its Own Laugh Track

Wayne Rooney returned to the Manchester United lineup today vs. Manchester City following a three-match ban for a red card in September. Maybe he had that incident in mind when tried to draw a foul on Stevan Jovetic in the second half of City’s 1-0 win at the Eithad with a comically mistimed flop. Referee Michael Oliver made plenty of questionable decisions during the match, however he didn’t fall for Rooney’s delayed theatrics.
