Vince Carter is Still Half-Man, Half-Amazing

Vince Carter will be 38-years old in January. After three seasons in Dallas, Memphis brought him in to provide some scoring off the bench. He hasn’t had to do much yet, playing just 15 minutes a night for the undefeated Grizzlies. I guess that says more about the efficiency of Memphis than the skill level of Vince Carter because just look at this play.

He goes by Tyreke Evans – who was 10-years old when Vincanity won the Dunk Contest – and flipped in an effortless and incredibly difficult layup that was contested by 7’2″ Alexis Ajinca. It was vintage Vince and maybe a reminder that just because we’re all going to die we can still tell Death, “Not today.”
