Lloyd Carrington's Pick-Six Seals Arizona State's Win Over Notre Dame

Notre Dame spotted Arizona State a 34-3 lead which proved too much to overcome. After a feverish second-half comeback cut the lead to 34-31, the Sun Devils answered. Taylor Kelly found Demario Richard for a four-yard touchdown pass and Lloyd Carrington returned an Everett Golson pick 58 yards for the backbreaker.
It was the fourth interception of the day for Golson and the second returned for a score.
Arizona State would add a cosmetic touchdown in the game’s final minute to bring the final tally to 55-31.
