Sponsored post: every week we will put out our picks for the weekly fantasy football salary cap game at FantasyScore.com. Using a $50,000 salary cap, we select our starting lineup of QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, TE, Flex, K, and DEF/ST.

Let’s start with the quarterback. We could go Ben Roethlisberger, and in fact, I will do that in some diversification alternate leagues, but Ben is going to cost more money after throwing 12 touchdowns in two weeks. The value play for me, though, is Matt Ryan, going against Tampa Bay’s secondary coming off a bye week. Ryan is a top 6 matchup start at a price well below the top guys.

At wide receiver, we’ll pair him with his partner in crime, Julio Jones, and add Kelvin Benjamin coming off a tough game with 2 catches. Benjamin is still the main man in Carolina, and the Eagles have given up plenty of big plays in the passing game. Our flex will go to Percy Harvin, who is coming much cheaper but has been a big part of the Jets offense since arriving via trade. He was averaging 5 targets a game in Seattle; that has jumped to 11 in New York.

At running back, we’ll save our money and go with a top 5 guy who is still coming at prices outside that status: Andre Ellington, and another guy who is getting featured back workloads in the last few weeks and is still a value in Denard Robinson.
