Patriots Twitter Account Thanks Follower With N-Word in Handle

The New England Patriots’ Twitter account is thanking a lot of its followers tonight, and one account with the handle @IHATEN*****SS slipped through the cracks in what we can only hope was an automated mistake and not the case of a social media manager being too hasty. (If the process was automated, the “i” was a “1,” which could explain how it wasn’t caught by a filter.)
