Italy-Croatia Euro 2016 Qualifier Temporarily Halted After Flares Thrown on Field

Crazy scenes played out from Milan’s San Siro stadium Sunday during the Euro 2016 qualifier between Italy and Croatia. The game was halted for about 10 minutes in the second half after fans in the upper deck threw flares onto the field, which covered the stadium in a haze of smoke.

Play resumed with the scored tied at 1-1.

Police in riot gear also got involved.

The game finished 1-1, leaving the two nations with 10 points and tied atop Group H.
