The Oakland Raiders jumped to a 14-3 lead, and then spent most of the rest of the game trying to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. After falling behind 20-17, Derek Carr hit James Jones in the end zone to take the lead inside the two minute warning. Then, everything from that point on was a thing of beauty.

Kansas City got a return out near the 40, then Oakland got them to a fourth down. That resulted in not one, not two, but three different defensive penalties on the same play to extend the game. Then, after a third down sack–mind you with the clock running and the Chiefs scrambling to run a play–Sio Moore sprinted 20 yards downfield, in the Chiefs’ backfield, dancing and celebrating the sack. Oakland took a defensive timeout with the clock running, with the lead, in order to prevent a potential penalty with several players still in an offside position, forgetting that there was still a play to be made.

Even win they win, the Oakland Raiders are the gift that keeps on giving.

Also, definitely the sign of the night—
