Los Angeles Lakers fans are so thirsty for success and relevance that they’ll chant M-V-P for anyone. For years they’ve been chanting those letters for Kobe Bryant. Now, with the Lakers holding one of the worst records in the NBA, they’ve moved on to bench hero Robert Sacre who received an M-V-P chant before missing a first quarter free throw on Sunday.

The Lakers lost the game to drop to 3-11 on the season. Sacre finished with 13 points on six shots. This isn’t the first time Lakers fans have given Sacre the MVP treatment. They chanted MVP for him at least once during their 27-win season last year.
