Derrick Rose Airballed a 3-Pointer in Double Overtime After Hitting a Prayer at the End of Overtime

Derrick Rose is a scorer, but still isn’t really a shooter. Rose is shooting more threes than he has in any previous season and against the Mavericks on Tuesday, he shot 11, making four. Including the one-handed, double-overtime-forcing, buzzer-beating bank shot in the video above. The shot had the same mechanics as a floater. It somehow went in. #clutch

With time winding down in double-overtime and the Bulls again trailing by 3, Rose found himself with the ball in his hands. The results were less clutch as he hit nothing but the bottom of the net. An airball. Bulls lose. #notclutch

Rose finished with 18 points on 20 shots. He also had 10 assists, 0 rebounds and 7 turnovers. The Bulls are good this year, but Derrick Rose shooting more threes is no way to go through life, Chicago.
