Fantasy Football Waiver Wire, Week 15: Kerwynn the Cardinal

The Waiver Wire is coming to an end. This will be the last official version, though feel free to communicate this week and next week and drop me a line. Many leagues don’t have the same waiver wire process once the postseason begins, and there will be only two teams competing after this week in almost every league. Those teams will be set or have their pick of the remaining options.

On the way out, there is one viable running back likely on every waiver wire: Kerwynn Williams of Arizona shot past Stepfan Taylor and Marlon Grice, as Andre Ellington went on IR. Williams had 19 carries for 100 yards last week, straight off the practice squad. He has a tough matchup against the Rams, and we still don’t know how the coaching staff views the situation, but he’s the only viable option in deeper leagues to even get into a flex possibility as a RB3 (he’ll likely be in the 26-36 range in the projections).

Rather than go through by position and do an in depth write up, I’m going to list my picks based on guys likely available. The future, as they say, is now. There is no playing ahead for what could happen in a few week, so this will be entirely based on starting calls for this week’s matchups and health situations. Of course, keep an eye on injury news and look for guys who will get an opportunity unexpectedly as the injury reports come out tomorrow.

Here are all guys owned in 67% or fewer of all leagues at CBS. Players owned in fewer than 25% of leagues and most likely to be available are bolded.
