Australian PGA Championship Marred by Thieving Crow

Look at the hubris of this bird. It thinks it can just steal Samuel Eaves’ golf ball from the fairway during the Australian PGA Championship and get away with it.

Has the crow never heard of television? Cameras captured the whole thing, buddy, and you’re busted.

Eaves’ was allowed to replace the ball without penalty because he can’t be expected to control nearby birds. Seems like a fair ruling to me but I’m no bird law expert.

Eaves can consider himself lucky things weren’t worse.

Kudos to golf for trying real hard to be exciting lately. More animals definitely equal more viewers.
