DeMarco Murray Needs Surgery on Broken Hand, Status for Sunday Uncertain

DeMarco Murray will undergo surgery today for a broken fourth metacarpal in his left hand, reports ESPN’s Todd Archer on Monday afternoon. His status for Sunday’s game with the Colts is to be determined as he’s yet to be offficially ruled out.

The injury took place in the fourth quarter of Sunday night’s win over the Eagles. Murray finished with 81 yards and two touchdowns on 31 carries. The Cowboys are 10-4. Murray leads the NFL in rushing with 1,687 yards.
