Malik Monk Threw Down an Impressive Poster Dunk

Malik Monk is one of the Top 100 players in the high school basketball class of 2016 – Rivals has him in the Top 10 – and the 6-foot-3 shooting guard has offers from Kansas, North Carolina and Florida, among others.

Here’s the Arkansas high school star rising up and throwing down a filthy facial on an ambitious chap who tried to block it. After the crowd explodes, keep an eye on Monk, who gets in the face of the kid who tried to block the shot – Monk’s at least 3-4 inches shorter – and starts jawing.

Mike Anderson’s got to keep Monk in state, right? The Razorbacks haven’t been to the tourney since 2008 – they could get on the bubble again come March – but based on this and this, he sounds like the type of player a program can build around. And this mixtape … well …
