Andre Miller is 38-years old, but it feels like it’s his 38th year in the league. He’s been in the NBA so long, the three-point shot was Miller’s idea. Slam dunks were invented by his high school classmate, Dr. J. Despite that history, Miller hasn’t attempted to dunk a basketball since the year after the NBA – ABA merger.

Well, something got into Miller during the Wizards’ 109-95 win over the Timberwolves on Tuesday. Kevin Seraphin missed a hook shot and Miller flew down the lane for a putback dunk. Obviously, he didn’t come close to pulling it off. Still, it’s nice to see someone his age try something new.
