Bo Pelini Zinged Nebraska Chancellor Harvey Perlman at Youngstown State Press Conference
By Ty Duffy

Bo Pelini seldom minces words. After being hired by Youngstown State, he expressed his happiness to be working for his first college president that understands football.
Bo Pelini, at YSU presser: "I have a president that's understands football, something that I don't know I've ever had."

The obvious implication is his former president Harvey Perlman, once an outspoken member of the BCS Presidential Oversight Committee, did not. To be fair, Bo didn’t start this. Perlman lobbed a few backhanded shots at Pelini after he left.
It appears the breakdown that led to Pelini’s departure from Nebraska went beyond the four-loss stagnancy.
