Darko Milicic, the 7-footer famously drafted between LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony in the 2003 NBA draft, is now a kickboxer. You knew that. But did you know he’s actually fighting? Like in a ring, against opponents in real competition?

He lost this fight because his shin wouldn’t stop bleeding.

The video should start around 3:38, when the fight begins. There’s minimal blood and it’s a pretty uninteresting battle of a 7-foot guy throwing kicks and punches against an undersized opponent. If you want to fast-forward to his shin injury, check out 8:20.

No word whether or not the media asked him afterward about the Boston Celtics trade of Rajon Rondo. Darko played in Boston in 2012.
