Houston Television Station Uses Image from NBA2K to Report Troy Daniels Trade
By Kyle Koster
Troy Daniels was traded from the Houston Rockets to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday night. Houston’s Fox affiliate was fortunate enough to get him on the phone during its broadcast, but apparently didn’t have a proper graphic for the shooting guard. It’s understandable, of course. The rookie from VCU is only averaging 6.4 minutes per contest.
Not willing to admit defeat, the chryon department decided to just use an image from NBA2K.
To be fair, the graphic is very lifelike and boasts a scoring average just 2.7 points below that of the real Daniels.
