Texas A&M plays West Virginia in the Liberty Bowl on Monday afternoon. The Aggies and Mountaineers warmed up for the game with a singing contest with a distinct 90s feel. A&M’s Caden Smith grabbed an acoustic guitar and belted out Matchbox Twenty’s “3 AM” while Trey Williams stole the show with a rendition of R. Kelly’s ‘Bump ‘N Grind.”

Both Smith and Williams were born in 1992 meaning they were barely a year old when the R. Kelly jam came out in 1993. They were a little bit older when Matchbox Twenty’s tune hit the airwaves in 1997.

The Aggies won the singing contest.
