Ottawa and Buffalo were tied 0-0 when the Senators’ Jared Cowen and Sabres’ Peter Kaleta dropped their gloves with a few minutes left in the 1st period. During the fight, Kaleta punched himself in the head. Sixty-one seconds later, Ottawa took the lead. According to HockeyFights.com, Kaleta clearly won the fight, but his team gave up the next goal and lost the game, 5-3. Obviously when a hockey player punches himself in the head it motivates the wrong team. Hockey’s Unwritten Enforcers Code sure is arbitrary!
