TBL Staff 2015 NFL Playoff Picks, Wild Card to the Super Bowl

We’re back with the Playoff Picks from everyone here at The Big Lead. We had some picks before the season — laugh, enjoy. Ty Duffy and Jason Lisk each nailed 5 of 6 playoff teams in the AFC. The NFC was a mess – nobody had the Panthers in the playoffs and only Stephen Douglas had the Cowboys reaching the postseason. Some of us still have our Super Bowl picks alive heading into the postseason.
This year, the four best teams by almost any measure (perception, point differential, star power) also earned byes. That’s actually a rarity in the modern NFL, with the 4 division structure and unbalanced schedules. The last time the four best teams actually waited to host a game in divisional weekend was 2007. And we know what happened then. Eli became a Super Bowl hero, and beat three of those teams (Cowboys, Packers, and the undefeated Patriots).
So yeah, expect chaos.
