Florida Player Suffers Stained Pants During Birmingham Bowl

Florida and East Carolina are playing the Birmingham Bowl today in Birmingham, Alabama. Is there a reason to play a bowl game that doesn’t even seem to have corporate sponsorship days after the College Football Playoff has begun? Probably not, but if it made sense they couldn’t call it college football.

One player who might wish the Gators had skipped the trip to Birmingham is freshman running back Adam Lane. While Lane has rushed for 68 yards and a touchdown in the first half, he also appears to have stained his pants.
