Jon Gruden Says He Made Jonathan Stewart and DeAngelo Williams A Lot of Money

Shame on “this guy” and “this guy.” Jon Gruden correctly recalls how DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart ended his coaching career. Back in 2008, Tampa Bay was 9-3 and had a Monday night showdown with the Panthers, and Williams and Stewart both ran for over 100 yards and two touchdowns, and Gruden never won a game in the NFL again.
So blame Jon Gruden for former GM Marty Hurney paying a ton of money for two running backs in the modern NFL.
