St. Bonaventure Coach Mark Schmidt Wiped Out on Scooter During Post-Game Handshake

Mark Schmidt of St. Bonaventure is having a rough couple of weeks. He ruptured his Achilles tendon at a practice on December 19th, and is coaching with the assistance of a scooter to help him move around while recovering from the injury.

St. Bonaventure also went through a rough patch, losing consecutive games to Maryland-Eastern Shore and Delaware over that span. The Bonnies got a big win today at UMass to get back on track, but coach Schmidt was a little too excited perhaps. Hey, he’s still learning how to use that thing.
