Kemba Walker dropped 31 points — including this and-1, fading gamewinner — as Charlotte fended off New Orleans last night (Anthony Davis, who remains a delight to watch, had 32 points, 12 rebounds, and 4 blocks in the losing effort). At 13-24, it’s been a tough season for the Hornets, who had lofty expectations over the summer. Lance Stephenson has missed 12 consecutive games with a pelvis injury, and was not panning out when healthy, and Al Jefferson’s out for perhaps a month with a groin strain.
