Roman Polak Took a Puck to the Face, Got Stitched Up and Continued to Play

Roman Polak, who doesn’t wear a shield, took a puck to the face during the Wednesday night game between Washington Capitals and Toronto Maple Leafs. Polak went back to the locker room, had his face stitched up and then returned for the 2nd and 3rd periods of the game where he had an assist on a Trevor Smith goal.
