Australian Baseball Brawl Features Actual Punches, One Very Scared Player

Baseball fans are left to get their January fix from strange places, like the Australian Baseball League.

And it appears what the organization lacks in talent is more than made up for in the fighting department.

Thursday night’s Adelaide Bite-Melbourne Aces featured a rather large brawl sparked by Tony Vacco’s plunking of Brad Harman.

Benches quickly emptied and actual punches were thrown. There was significantly less slow dancing than your typical Major League Baseball fracas.

The highlight came at the end when one Bite player was chased all over the field by a few very angry Aces.

Very smart move by that guy, who understands the value of leaving to flee another day.
