Gary Kubiak has reached an agreement to be the next head coach of the Denver Broncos, according to Adam Schefter. It will be a four year deal. It was a poorly kept secret that Kubiak was the choice, with earlier talk this morning that he could get the job by Tuesday. Kubiak, of course, was the backup QB in Denver behind John Elway (I can only presume he will start his press conference with “I would like to thank John Elway”). He also served on the staff with Mike Shanahan in Denver as offensive coordinator, before becoming the Houston Texans’ head coach.
