Aaron Murray and Kacie McDonnell Ended Their Engagement

Some heartbreaking news from Kansas City today — Aaron Murray and Kacie McDonnell have called off their engagement. The Chiefs backup quarterback and former Philadelphia television traffic reporter had been engaged since October.

Philly.com spoke with McDonnell on Tuesday, noting she also deleted a picture of a potential wedding venue in the Philadelphia area from her Instagram account recently.

"“I’m loving my career in Kansas City,” McDonnell told me, confirming that Murray ended their engagement. “I’m really committed to being a part of this community for the time being. The engagement is off. I wish him the best, it’s best to part ways. I’m moving on with my life.”"

Earlier this week came word that soccer power couple Cristiano Ronaldo and Irina Shayk broke up after five years.
