Robert Allenby doesn’t remember all the details of his reported Saturday beating and robbery. Another witness, Toa Kaili, told the Daily Mail that Allenby was passed out on a sidewalk in Waikiki for two and a half hours. According to Kaili, he and a friend tried to wake Allenby at 11 p.m., and Allenby accused them of stealing his wallet. They told him they were just the ones trying to help him and left. When Kaili passed by two and half hours later, Allenby was still on the sidewalk, but his face was bloodied. Kaili claims it was from hitting his head on a rock.

Allenby’s credit card was stolen. One of the few consistent things about this story is that detail, and just how, and for how long, he was passed out, and how he got the injuries remains clouded in various accounts.
