Will the NFL Fine Mike Francesa for Confusing a Microsoft Surface with an iPad?

Everyone’s favorite blog subject, Mike Francesa, opened his Wednesday radio show on WFAN talking to Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles. Random, right? The rookie quarterback was a guest on behalf of Microsoft to promote its Surface tablets (the official tablet of the NFL). Much like Jay Cutler before him, Francesa confused them for iPads saying, “now you guys have like these iPads, these little pads you can look at everything during the game.” Oops.

Throughout the week Francesa mentioned being “around the NFL for 40 years” more than once. So … does this mean he’ll be fined by the National Football League for his branding confusion? We know the league takes this stuff quite seriously.
