Would Richard Sherman Miss the Super Bowl for Childbirth?

Richard Sherman and his girlfriend, Ashley Moss, are expecting a baby boy in the next week. As of now, the Seahawks cornerback has not committed one way or the other in terms of what he’d do if the birth is on Sunday. “We’ll cross that bridge when we get there,” Sherman said, via ESPN’s Josh Weinfuss. “We’re not thinking about the possibility.”

Ms. Moss is in Arizona and plans to have the baby at a local hospital if she goes into labor before the game. Nevertheless, Sherman believes that his son knows what’s at stake here:
