UConn Guard Laid Out By Cincinnati Big Man's Screen

Cincinnati beat UConn on Thursday, 79-58. Among the lowlights for the Huskies was sophomore guard Rodney Purvis getting blindsided by a legal pick from Cincy’s Quadri Moore. Purvis, a 6’4″ sophomore ran full speed into the 6’8″, 230-pound Moore and went to the floor. I can’t tell what percent was a real fall and what percentage was selling it to try and draw a foul, but it was solid, legal contact either way.
