Marcin Gortat Says Poland is "pissed off" Because He Didn't Make the All-Star Team
Gortat cited politics & fewer Twitter followers than other players as reasons for not making the all-star team. Said Poland is “pissed off.”

Marcin Gortat was not one of the announced reserves for the Eastern Conference All-Star team. Gortat was the last man out in the fan voting, recieving the 4th highest number of votes behind LeBron, Pau Gasol and Carmelo Anthony. Gortat told the Washington Post that politics and Twitter follower counts came into play when he wasn’t named a reserve. Coaches instead went for Paul Milsap, Al Horford, Chris Bosh, Kyrie Irving and Dwyane Wade, who may miss the game due to an injury. Hopefully, Gortat will be given Wade’s spot so that the NBA can ease their foreign relations with Poland.
