Brian Shaw Raps Personnel Reports to Motivate the Denver Nuggets

Brian Shaw led the Denver Nuggets to 4th place in the Northwest division in his rookie season as a coach. This season, the Nuggets are also in 4th place, but are doing it with a slightly lower win percentage. It’s been a particularly rough stretch with the Nuggets losing four straight and 11 of 12 overall, but Shaw is trying his best to keep heads up in the locker room by whatever means necessary. From the Boston Herald:

"He said he’s been trying everything to get his players motivated through a series of injuries and the trading of starting center Timofey Mozgov for draft picks (sound familiar?). Shaw even admitted to rapping a pregame personnel report. Seriously."

Again, Denver has lost 11 of 12 so Brian Shaw is probably a horrible rapper.

Still, we need video of this and there is only one person to blame for that not already existing – JaVale McGee. Get your shit together, son. You’re injured so you can’t play basketball and you’re not taking cell phone videos of your coach rapping about injury reports and the starting lineup? You had one job!
