Philadelphia 76ers New Mascot is a Dog Who Cannot Dunk

Franklin is the new fluffy dog mascot of the Philadelphia 76ers. Presumably, Franklin hunted and killed the former Sixers’ mascot, Hip Hop, a Donnie Darko-inspired rabbit monster. Franklin was officially unveiled today before a crowd of people who probably should have had something better to do with their day. During his introduction, Franklin tried to dunk a basketball. Unfortunately, he ended up with #notadunk. The Sixers should have just made K.J. McDaniels their mascot. [gif via Philly Mag]
